Organising special events related to employment…it’s what we are all about!
The success that Le Trait d’union has had in the past is definitely something to be proud of! We have developed over the years an expertise in organising special events such as job fairs and employment workshops, but this is not all. We are also happy that we were able to help thousands of people in their search for the right job that would fulfill their needs and desires.

West Island Job Fairs (1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 & 2004)
To date, we have organised 7 job fairs for the West Island of Montreal. Each time more than 3500 visitors attend the fair looking for jobs in different fields and trades. These events help both the employers and the job seekers, providing them with the opportunity to meet people on the spot.

Career Days
In the winter of 2000, a “career day” was organised by Le Trait d'union together with a company specialised in technology. The company, for whom the event was organised, received more than 1000 applications from hopeful candidates. To the company’s pleasant surprise, they were looking for very specific skills; they received many able and experienced individuals who fit their needs.

Claire Lamarche TV Show: Détrompez-vous, des jobs il y en a! (1999, 2000, 2001)
On three separate occasions Le Trait d'union collaborated with the researchers of the Claire Lamarche tv show to organise 3 career days during the broadcast called: “Détrompez-vous, des jobs il y en a!” (Don’t be fooled there are jobs). The 5th of November 1999 the show attracted over 1200 guests. However, the 6th of March 2000 the number of guests escalated to 3500 making the show a huge success. Later on April 20th 2001 the show was just as big with 3000 guests in attendance.
